Force to Find Own Success Story

NEETs(young people Not in Education, Employment or Training) are big social issue  in Japan.
There is no logic or certainty  of high education rewarded to get good job nor work hard, make effort  are rewarded which used to be.Then it's hard to find hope, dream and future among young generation.
I find one of really insightful and philosophical NEET blog written by one who had been 6years of no employment and social withdrawal.
His great work is "Give a hope from his own subjective experience to young people who are despair."
I got  inspiration from his latest blog post "Can't find the reason of confidence"
He know the importance of having confidence and try to have confidence, but can't find actual achievement. Then he suggest how to find confidence.

"Force to Find  Own Success"

When I try on, I find it like gold digging.
For example ,"Patience" is a matter of common sense, no wander among Japanese.

Patience is the ability to wait without experience anger, anxiety,or frustration. It's entirely internal, subjective rather than objective.

When your ability to control external events is limited or nonexistent, you must learn to control your inner responses. You must learn to control your anger and your frustration and your anxiety.

(Excerpt from  the book "Make Yourself Unforgettable: How to Become the Person Everyone Remembers and No One Can Resist" By Dale Carnegie Training)

But it's rare case in US.
Or I always wish to blow my  horn when I'm achieving success and have been waiting the moment of  pull oneself out of recession.
As the matter of fact, It’s the accomplishment that one year past since working  as the IT consultant after unemployment and still able to pay mortgage to keep house.

My favorite section of New York times is 'Neediest Cases".
Conceptually "I want to give a hope to the people who are despair".
In reality, it’s not pleasant  to be around the people who are financially stress and problems.
I hope to blog about my own subjective experience of  "Pursuit of Happiness"(force to find own success, happiness) will inspire and give a hope to the people who lost the will to live, lost the hope and dream of the future .

My New Year's Resolution for 2012  is Influential

Nothing more pathetic than an aging hipster

By the popularity of  blogs and social networkings, you and me can become the stylists ,designers and fashion models nowadays. So I attempt to post self-produced fashion blog with philosophical twist,so called self -produced artist.
Master in the art form seems skin deep in Japanese culture, like tea ceremony, flower arrangement and calligraphy.
Nail art is also amazing in Japan.Go and check the website like CO CO Nail, sha-nail.

From Co Co Nail
Also women  can benefit by able to see pretty nails more often  than  see their faces on the mirror.
Yet, I hesitate to  show off my nails as my fashion statement because of  my age.

Do you know you are aging hipster ?
Check out  the blog post Laments of an Aging Hipster  by tylerjanuary.

You know you are an aging hipster when you roll out of bed with messy hair and last-night's makeup and look like a hot mess, instead of just hot.

You know you are an aging hipster when you kiss your dog and cats more than you kiss strangers (which is actually no strangers at all because you are married).
You know you are an aging hipster when you continue to affectionately refer to yourself as, "Such an Old Lady!" but more and more no one seems to laugh at the absurdity, they just agree.

ETC.....
I might sooth myself by telling myself like Wayne Dyer,
"Spirituality in midlife, the midlife transition is a move from ambition to meaning."

Or ,it might be more realistic observation about aging on the blog post The incredible shrinking man

1111936full-the-incredible-shrinking-man-poster.jpg
I've revealed many personal details here, but the other day I discovered something I didn't much want to share. I am shrinking. During a routine test of my bone density, a nurse backed me up against a wall and used a built-in device to measure me.
"Five feet, five and a half inches," she said. If this was true, I had lost two and a half inches.
 ........
Whatever it was, this was a sign of mortality.
.......
Apparently aging is programmed into our cells. You've read the articles. If the aging process could be arrested, we'd theoretically live longer--assuming we stayed in good health.

........

Nevertheless, today I am a shorter man. I am dealing with this by following the Kubler-Ross model:

1. Denial. I wasn't standing up straight. Besides, my surgery changed my posture. Also, the nurse was shorter than I am, so how could she see the markings behind me?
2. Anger. Damn it, I've been through enough. Now I've been on a healthy controlled diet for five years and my blood numbers are better than ideal, so why do I need more problems?
3. Bargaining. I'll take up yoga and buy a shoulder brace. I'll have Chaz measure me with a pencil mark up against the wall.
4. Depression. My decrepitude is gaining on me. I'll be 69 at the end of the week. That's almost 70. I can't even comprehend being this old. This is the last straw. Before long I'll be looking Danny DeVito in the eyes.

5. Acceptance. Hey, there's nothing I can do about it. It's a fact. I stand five feet, five and a half inches tall. Case closed. Look on the bright side. I've wasted the last three days trying to figure out something to say about Alpha Male Disease and its female counterparts, Obsessive Shopping and Shoplifting. I kept getting stuck on the appalling banality and shabbiness of Weiner's behavior. Nobody needs to be told more about that. Maybe I can get a column out of my shrinking. I know! I'll find that movie poster. And then, in the comments, readers will tell me that it's better to shrink than to send random women on Facebook cell phone photos of my body.
Especially the way it looks now.

Anyway,I decide to post my picture with new color gel nail by French Nail.
Nail technique in Japan and Korea are superb. If you live in Central NJ,I highly  recommend it.

Blade Runner again

When I saw the article “ I’m Homeless and This Is Why I Have an iPad” on gizmode.com, The homeless with iPad image hunted in my deep psyche and at that time, I read “Goggle’s earth” by William Gibson on New York times, the opinion page.

Time passed.....then my mind blow up by really fascinating Japanese blog article ”Tokio” on 町田の独り言 today.

In his article, he describe that the future city in “Blade Runner” is squalid, insanitary, and advanced technology mingled with Asian chaos.. all mixed up together and very mysterious big city.
You can see the strange skyscraper buildings stood which look like the shrine of ancient civilization, furthermore the upper class people are the highest floor, and are living a life like an ancient monarch.

▲Room for Upper society

But people who live in the lower layer of the building wear clothes look like homeless and wondering ,crossing the street where acid rain is pouring. All illuminations of buildings have sprinkled the poisonous-looking colors while the image of the Japanese Geisha is singing like chanting spell to  advertise "WAKAMOTO" on one of the electric signboard.
Design of perverted and dystopian vision of the future city blow one's mind.

▲ "Geisha girl " sings on a strange video billboard.
Bird view of City in "Blade Runner" is artificial like an amusement park which include a lot of gimmicks, closed with heavy fog of acid rain, and sometimes a flame came out from the chimney extended from the highest floor of the building blazed up.

▲ Future city Los Angels 2019 in Blade Runner
In his blog ,he is saying what message expressed in the movie and 80's business culture which thoroughly pleasure-seeking , superficial , momentary and somehow surrounded with sadness was that time when "Philosophy", "Culture" respected as the values which support man's inner life was over .Human is not the creature to respond "Philosophy","Culture" anymore, but react to the digital stimulus with which light and sound mingle like a shower.
But in retrospect,he think that 80's is the preparation for the coming age,the new world view which environmental change caused by technology evolution chances human.
City which carried a full load of overly advanced technology is the essence of City.
New world view which transformed the essence of City as from” Life space” to “Play ground” brought after 80’s.
It is as if City evolves into Disneyland.
A big city like Tokyo , Osaka in Japan are at the very first accomplished "Disneyland-zing" cities in the world?
An overseas novelist and movie directors noticed such a thing. For example, William Gibson "Neuromancer" -- novel. Director Quentin Tarantino "Kill Bill", Director Ridley Scott "Black Rain" -- movie. In there,"City in Japan" is exotic, magic-like, sexy, yet, is refined and charming -- in which all charming elements are hodgepodge well and he described as one word ”Japan Cool”.
When I look youth culture nowadays , like "Apple generation"on comic blog "Secret Asian Man" by Tak Toyoshima, it's not Science Fiction anymore, don't you think?

Where does Ying and Yang come from?

Excerpt from Tutorial "Ying Yang" By Joey Yap

Chinese sages state that the Tao or Tai Ji comes from the Great Void (Nothingness). The great void is known as the WuJi. The WuJi is the netherworld of all creation and the pure land of all wisdom and life in the Universe.

Pass on Dream or Fantasy

ANG LEE said "CROUCHING TIGER,HIDDEN DRAGON is a kind of dream of China,a China that probably never exist, except in my boyhood fantasies in Taiwan."
I love this movie and this is my fantasy to pass on Global Asian dream to my child or am I a Tiger Mom?
Recently, I start taking my son to Xin Yi Martial Arts School's beginner class in my neighborhood;Edison ,New Jersey.I choose Chinese Martial Arts, not Japanese(Judo,Karate and Aikido) as passing on my own heritage nor Korean(Taekwondo)because of my fantasy of Kung Fu movie.

This Master Yang's martial art school held Chinese New Year Demonstration.
Wow!students movement are so speedy and so exciting to watch on live!

May be...I, as a parent, pumped up to push my kid to try harder than his own interest? Actually, most of the students practice as family together like "Everyone was Kung Fu fighting." describe and I didn't forget to take pictures of my friend's performance as well;)
